Made to order, reinforced packaging and tracked shipping from France.

About this piece

The traditional Kitsune mask is my version closest to the classic Japanese fox mask, the one from matsuri and kagura theatre. Smooth lines, a long muzzle, a calm gaze. It's the reference, the most traditional Kitsune I make.

Available colours

  • White: the Zenko, Inari's messenger fox, the sacred shrine colour.
  • Black: the Nogitsune, the wild nocturnal fox, the counterpart to white.
  • Red: fire and passion, the red of the Fushimi Inari torii, the colour of the most powerful kitsune.

Each colour is hand-painted and varies slightly.

FAQ

What is a traditional Kitsune mask?
It's the fox mask from Japanese festivals (matsuri) and kagura theatre tied to the Inari cult: long muzzle, smooth lines, calm gaze. My version keeps those codes in hand-painted PETG.
