The Tengu is one of the most feared yokai in Japan. Half-man, half-bird, recognizable by its long nose, it is the guardian of the mountains and sacred forests. A master of martial arts, it trained the greatest warriors of Japanese mythology. Feared by monks, respected by samurai.
